The 17-4 was introduced in 1977 and the pinned barrel was eliminated in 1982, so production on this gun is 1977 to 1981. Built on the square butt K frame. Features recessed chambers, six shot, double action, blued finish, Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, case colored target hammer, case colored trigger, silver medallion checkered walnut grips. This model was referred to as the K-22 Masterpiece, one of the finest .22 caliber target revolvers ever made. Cylinder has light drag line, light muzzle wear, right side of frame has light freckling from poor storage (not rusted). Action and bore are fine. Comes in the original matching two piece blue box with some paperwork.
