This First Series Match Target Model was introduced in 1938 with this example manufactured in that first year. Sports a blued finish, adjustable front sight, target rear sight, and a pair of Colt silver medallion "elephant ear" checkered walnut grips. Comes with one original magazine marked "Match Target". Pistol is in excellent used condition; some muzzle wear, and retains approximately 95% original factory blue. The grips, while not cracks or chipped, show some wear to checkering and some dents along edge. Fine bore and action. Nice pre-war Match Target.
