This is one of the lowest serial number and earliest Weatherby Mausers. It has the Weatherby marked FN action, Weatherby barrel, high polish factory blue finish, no sights, tapped for scope, jeweled bolt, blued trigger guard and floorplate, sling eyes and Pachmayr waffle pad. Deluxe grain walnut stock has the Monte Carlo Weatherby comb with roll-over cheek piece. Right side of the stock has the pattern 16-A dual wood inlay on the right side and the forend has the No. 16-B inlay on both sides. Bottom of the forend has a gold diamond within the checkering with the owner’s initials “W.G.C.” The checkering pattern is a Pattern 4 22 LPI with wrap-around forearm checkering. The rifle is in near new condition inside and out. Simply a lovely presentation early deluxe custom Weatherby. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this firearm will be given to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
