Right side of barrel is stamped with the Ordnance and "P"; left side of frame is stamped "U.S." with Odnace bomb and "P". Shotgun has a four row blued heat shield with bayonet lug and new brass screws. Pistol grip plain walnut stock and forend; butt has been cut and pad added. Has an M1 Garand bayonet and sheath. Reproduction heat shield retains the majority of its original blue. Balance of metal is basically a clean brown patina. While the Trench accessories are after market, the shotgun itself is original with the exception of the rubber buttplate. Very good bore and action. This would be a great gun to restore back to its original configuration.
