Manufactured 1977. George Madore is a noted pistol-smith from Brookhaven, Pennsylvania who specializes in Colt Model 1911 pistols. He accurized the standard Series .45 and added high profile front sight, a Bo-Mar adjustable rear sight, National Match barrel, accurizer bushing, aluminum adjustable trigger, custom checkered mainspring housing and stippled front grip strap. Right side of slide is stamped with his name. Gun has been used but retains the majority of the blue finish with some minor wear. Should prove to be a highly accurate custom Colt .45.
