Manufactured in 1953. Round blued heavy target barrel with Redfield Olympic Model globe front sight and Redfield International Match rear peep sight mounted on action and barrel with two mounts for scope. Barrel marked on left side with standard Model 52 Winchester markings. Left side of blued action stamped with serial number near breech. Polished bolt; safety has been removed; blued trigger guard with two screws for adjustable trigger guard pull and O.T.; serrated trigger. Walnut semi-pistol grip heavy target stock with serrated steel buttplate, swing swivels, and blued rail on bottom of forend with aluminum and bronze adjustable rest. Barrel retains about 95% bright blue finish with a few scattered marks from use, a few areas of scattered light surface rust and some light wear at muzzle. Blued action retains 98% bright blue finish with some wear behind bolt. Sights are in excellent condition. Trigger guard shows little wear. Rail on bottom of stock retains about 60% blue finish. Stock is very good with some wear around grip and a few scattered marks from use, some chipping front forend screw on bottom. Excellent bore.
