Blued round steel side by side barrels with solid matte rib and single brass bead, right barrel stamped "PIONEER - MADE BY FELIX SARASQUETA Y CIA. - SPAIN.". Nickel plated boxlock action engraved on one side with two ducks and scattered plants and other side with two pheasant and scattered plants; blued and engraved lever, safety, and trigger guard. Extractors, automatic safeties, double triggers. Walnut semi-pistol grip stock with checkered panels on each side of wrist, black pistol grip cap, and red recoil pad; checkered beaver tail forearm with Anson release. Very good condition; barrels retains 80-90% blue with some thinning on sides of barrel, especially near breeches, some nicks on edges of ribs, bores are shiny. Action is very good with some discoloration from water and a few scattered areas of surface rust. Stocks fair; buttstock with heavy losses to finish in some areas, marred checkering, and scattered scratches. Forend shows a few scattered marks from use and some wear to checkering and losses to finish.
