Eddystone barrel dated June 1918. Walnut forend has an Eddystone "E" stamp. Lower stock is stamped "T" in front. Left side of stock is stamped "19" and "3GM-K" in rectangle, and eagle stamp by grip. Remington stamped rear sight. "Eddystone" stamped bolt release, Eddystone safety. ME reading +2. This is a typical World War I issue rifle that went through the rebuild program during the second World War. metal retains most of the military matte refinish. Stock is very good to excellent with no cracks. Comes with a period sling. Fine bore and action.
