Two-stage smoothbore steel barrel with small brass front sight and engraved with a sunburst around it. Lockplate signed "Kunz" in center and engraved with daisy at tail and stiffleaf around pan. Profusely engraved brass furniture including buttcap engraved with rocker panel border and daisy in center, triggerguard with unique finial engraved with large acanthus leaf and foliage on the bow, and familiar engraved two-piece pierced sideplate. Silver oval wrist escutcheon with engraved flower. Partially figured walnut stock with flat pommel and brass nosecap; wooden ramrod. Good condition, barrel and lock have a light brown finish and have been cleaned at some time; scattered marks from use and some light pitting. Lock reconverted. Brass furniture with a mellowing patina and dark in some areas. Stock very good, as refinished, with scattered marks from use.
