Two-stage smoothbore brass barrel with brass front sight; top flat marked "John Moll." Lockplate marked "C. BIRD & Co/PHILADA/WARRANTED"; roller frizzen. Brass furniture including buttcap with finely engraved daisy, triggerguard with Lehigh County type lug forward of bow and arrow front finial, engraved with border, and Lehigh sideplate with engraved arrow rear finial. Brass trigger. Silver oval wrist escutcheon inscribed "LC." Cherry stock with horn-tipped wooden ramrod. Good condition. Barrel retains a dark applied finish. Lock has been professionally reconverted to flintlock configuration. Brass furniture somewhat polished and other areas dark with applied finish, some furniture probably contemporary. Stock excellent as refinished with some chipping around buttcap.
