Rifled three-stage cannon barrel with engraved florals on top three flats, near breech. Original handmade flintlock lock with detached pan and with sprigs of engraving on the cock, tail, and center of lockplate. Hand forged and engraved brass buttcap, sideplate and triggerguard. Sideplate indicates possible Womelsdorf school association. Highly figured maple half-stock with incised carving around lock and sideplate, terminating in a teardrop on both sides. Relief carved teardrop with ball around the barrel tang. Excellent condition, barrel and original flint lock have brown patina, brass unpolished and stock excellent. Overall with a few scattered marks from use.
