Manufactured 1879. Referred to as the Sheriff's or Storekeeper's Model; manufactured without ejector. It is a six shot, double action with fixed sights, nickel finish and Colt black composite grips. Gun has been beautifully engraved in the New York scroll style on barrel, frame, cylinder, loading gate, trigger guard, and backstrap. Revolver retains approximately 20-30% original factory nickel with the balance simply blending to gun metal grey. Indexes perfectly. Strong bore. Very handsome master engraved New York style antique Colt Lightning.
