Manufactured in 1893, second year of production. Standard rifle with round barrel, full magazine, blued finish, two leaf express rear sight, additional tang sight, and walnut stocks with rifle butt. The barrel and tube are basically soft grey patina; sharp barrel legends. Tube is a replacement but matches perfectly. Frame is a soft brown patina with approximately 20% showing through. Walnut stocks have a lovely finish, slightly shy to metal with a sliver on butt at wrist; no cracks. Fine working order. Strong rifling. Should be a great shooter and would not require any paperwork due to its antique status.
