John Martz is world renowned of the custom work he preforms on Lugers and Walthers making the ideal pocket semi automatic of a gun that was never made but should've been. Barrel is shortened, all small accent parts are nickel plated, balance finished in blue, sports checkered custom one piece wrap around walnut grips. Length of grip has been shortened. John has custom marked the pistol on both the magazine and right side of frame. The original BYF43 year code still remains on left side of slide. Waffenamt "359" on left side of frame and right side of slide has Waffenamt "135" with Nazi eagle. He has dated the gun "68" in a circle. A beautifully made, custom "chopped" Walther P.38. Fine bore and action.
