It is our opinion that this Luger that this Luger was used by the East German Police. The barrel has been replaced and reblued. It has mixed parts numbers. Stamped with an import mark on right side "CAI". Has composition Vopo East German grips. Mint bore and fine action. Bridge is dated 1939. Toggle has the 42 factory code. Inside grip strap has police marking No. 3. Sideplate has a matte finish; balance is a high polish blue finish. Has one aluminum bottom magazine that matches frame.
