Manufactured 1916 and remains in near new all original condition; retaining fully 98% of the brilliant early, high polish finish so distinctive on early Colt pistols with a hint of high edge muzzle wear and light takedown line only. Grip straps retain virtually all of the high polish original blue with a tad of patina on rear. Diamond checkered walnut grips are near mint. Early unmarked blued barrel does not appear to have ever been shot. Pistol has all proper early parts with short checkered wide-spur hammer, long smooth trigger, checkered safety and slide lock. Has an original tempered two toned magazine with lanyard loop. Worthy of a box. This pistol appears to be nearly unfired.
