Has all matching numbers including grips and removable stock. Distinguishing features include grip safety, scalloped toggle, adjustable rear sight, ramp front sight, checkered walnut grips, checkered walnut forend with Schnabel tip, sling swivel, nickel escutcheon with retaining pin. The stock has matching number on upper tang, straw colored release, full wrap-around checkering, sling swivel, and a black composite buttplate. Has an aluminum wood bottom magazine with no markings. Approximately 2,500 of these were manufactured in this serial range for commercial sales in Germany and elsewhere. No Germany import stamp (correct). This pistol remains in extraordinary all original condition retaining 95-97% original factory blue with some minor high edge wear. Wooden walnut buttstock is in excellent condition with most of the blue on tangs. Beautiful straw colors on all small parts. Fine action and bore. Beautiful, all original, rare 1902 carbine.
