Colt introduced the third generation Buntline Special Model in 1981. The colt book of serial numbers shows this frame was made in 1980. Features full nickel finish, six shot, single action, and two piece walnut grips. This revolver has never been fired; shows no cylinder burn. This revolver was never very popular and as such, few were produced; even less in nickel finish. Has original hang tag.
