This is an early small hammer Bolo as seen on page 100 and 101 in the book System Mauser, often considered Transition Models. They are very scarce with only four serial numbers listed in book. Features the blued finish, Nitre blue small parts, fine serrated walnut grips with lanyard ring, straw colored trigger. All matching numbers. Pistol remains in fantastic all original condition, retaining 96% original factory blue with just some high edge wear and some minor thinning. Grips are mint. Fine bore and action. It is fitted in a leather carry case with a trade label of "F. Beesley" on London. Comes with two boxes of Kynoch ammunition, a glass and nickel oil bottle with paper label, and a wood handle cleaning rod. Case is in excellent condition. Lovely early, dealer case Bolo in outstanding original condition.
