Manufactured 1968. It is standard in all respects, features the factory blue finish with Colt logo brown composition grips. This pistol has seen little to no use retaining virtually all of its original factory finish, original marked barrel an magazine with no evidence of takedown line, a trigger shoe has been added and can be easily removed but will probably leave a mark. There is also a slight rub on right bottom forward portion of frame. Perfect bore and action, pistol comes as original Colt wood grain two piece cardboard box with proper end label and price of $135. Bottom box is numbered to gun in white marker, comes with original instructions and warranty card. The Colt Model 1911 A1 is one of the most recognized handguns among the shooting fraternity and the 38 cartridge has become increasingly popular with both shooters and collectors and the supply of high condition original examples are eagerly sought by both. This is an exceptional example.
