Manufactured 1956/57. This revolver has matching numbers on yoke and on cylinder. Features six shot, double action, high Patridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, checkered top strap and rib, case colored target hammer and trigger, and diamond checkered Smith & Wesson target grips with black discs; not numbered. The Smith & Wesson Pre-27 was the Cadillac of the Smith & Wesson square butt N frame line with pinned barrel and recessed cylinders. This revolver has an extremely light drag line. Near mint grips. Retains 99.9% of the lustrous Smith & Wesson original blue finish with brilliant case colors. Fine bore and action. Near new condition inside and out.
