Manufactured 1970. In 1970 Colt began experimenting with a special barrel bushing to improve accuracy, for all intents and purposes it is a standard Pre-Series 70 with the standard "BB" marked barrel and special bushing with standard Colt factory blue finish and brown Colt logo composite grips. The pistol is in as new condition inside and out with no drag line and no sign that the gun has ever been fired. Comes in the original Colt two piece box numbered to gun on bottom with instructions and original wax paper. Less than 1,000 of these pistols were manufactured in 1970 and are extremely difficult to find in near new condition.
