Octagonal Damascus steel barrels with multi groove rifling and small half moon front sights, rear notch sights on tangs, bottoms of breeches with Belgian Liege proofs. Patent hooked breeches engraved with Acanthus leaf patterns and borders. Casehardened percussion locks engraved with stiffleaf, foliage, and spider webs at tangs, with a gold inlaid oval border the centers. Casehardened steel mounts, including triggerguards with target spurs and engraved pineapple finials. Winged sideplate with engraved olive branches and spider webs. Silver barrel key escutcheons. Figured walnut stocks with carved relief fish-scale checkering on each side of wrists, Acanthus leaf carved ebony buttcaps with silver extra nipple compartments. Fluted Schnabel forends relief carved with foliage. Vacant silver shield escutcheons on wrists. Complete with a highly figured oak case measuring 18-5/8"x11"x3" with large vacant brass oval escutcheon on lid, shield keyhole escutcheon, and half moon grooved brass inlay to open lid. Green felt interior with accessories, including ebony handled cleaning rod, mallet, and percussion cap container. Also including a bullet mold, screw driver, powder measure, lead pouring spoon, a Parisian brass powder flask, a pick, ball puller, and two ramrods. Very good to good condition, barrels excellent with some very light surface rust, locks show nearly all of case colors, but hammers are broken in two on both pistols, one spur is missing. Stocks and furniture are excellent. Case very good, with some scattered marks, lid slightly warped, and a minor age crack, interior needs repaired and relined. Accessories are very good.
