A true treasure to the comic book world this all metal rack stands 46-1/2" and dates back to the winter of 1940. This display stand was designed to showcase Action, Detective, Adventure, Flash, All American, and More Fun Comics. All of the signage on the display are printed tin and complete. At the bottom center is a disclaimer to store owners not to use this rack to display other titles. The Interesting absence of the Batman title helps date this display to early 1940. What an amazing and important time capsule. The condition of the display is over all excellent. The wire rack shows a light coating of surface rust. The signs show condition relative to age but display well. We believe with a little cleaning this piece could be even more stunning. Great early piece of comic book history!
