Coin-operated music box attributed to Mermod Freres. This music box has a long cylinder and wide-tooth comb housed in an American-made quarter sawn oak cabinet. To operate, simply deposit a nickel into the slot and crank the handle on the side of the cabinet. Once the cylinder is sufficiently wound the melody will begin to play. Works nicely. Three keys are included. Circa late 1800 to early 1900s.

From the collection of Alan Sax

Condition: (Very Good).
