This convex, reverse glass sign reads, "BAKERSFIELD / BREWING CO. / BAKERSFIELD CAL. / HIGH GRADE / BEERS". The background field is a rich burgundy red with blue and silver art deco style border lines. There is a central image of a lion perched on a keg of beer. The lettering is in gold and silver foils with black drop shadows. The frame is mitred, copper half-round, attached to the face with slotted screws. The bottom center is marked "J. Dawes Mfg. Co. S.F."
