Iron open headpiece with high comb and brim forming high peaks front and back and turned down at the sides. Edged turned in at rim. Plume socket attached in front at junction of brim and crown. Rivets with floral surrounds around crown base, with leather traces for lining inside under rivets. Dark patina with moderate oxidation and some slight separation at points on top of comb. Good condition.
