This rifle is so rare, it cannot be found in either the "Remington Catalog" nor the "Air Gun Encyclopedia". It is a pump action rifle that resembles their pre-war big game rifle. Metal is basically gun metal grey. Appears to have original had black lacquer finish. Stock is original, quite interesting, with period engraved figures of pirate, cutlass, flower, parrot and clown. "John" stamped on left side. Stamped "Remington Air Rifle" on left side of frame with safety feature on right. Needs mechanical attention but has an extremely clean exterior and very rare.
