This self framed, factory framed lithograph on tin is titled, "Old Friends" and was printed by Bachrach & Friends of San Francisco. The lower left corner contains a stylized signature from the original artist containing the initials "FCS". While the artist's identity remains unknown, it is known that they painted it in 1903 and it remains a beautifully executed oil painting with interesting light and a quality understanding of perspective. At some point, the areas of minor damage that it had sustained to the field were professionally inpainted and are only detectable upon very close inspection.
