Cardboard. Copyright dated 1935 King Features Syndicate and Milton Bradley Company Licensee. Exceptionally attractive painting toy using a mechanical die-cut figure of Popeye to guide your artistic efforts. The Popeye figure, holding a painter's palette, is paper litho on cardboard. The figure is jointed in many places and moves as you paint. Includes two pages to paint or crayon. Also includes a great box of Popeye crayons inside of the original set box with outstanding graphics and just a few side splits. Set appears to have been used. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.

Condition: (Excellent).
