Marked Aerolux Happy Lamp on base of boat. Lamp is in the shape of a sailboat with a small deck house with chimney on one end, a mast with flag in the center and next to that is the glass bulb with a silver figural Popeye filament. Popeye is holding up a torch. When turned on the filament lights up instantly and glows red. The cord appears to be original and there is an on/off switch on the cord and a black felt bottom. It is rare to find this lamp with a working bulb, especially with an undamaged mast. Moderate paint loss. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.
Condition: (Very Good).
