The graphics indicate a likely date of early 1930s. Made by Joseph Schneider Inc. in New York. Copyright King Features Syndicate. Game came in two sizes and this is the smaller of the two versions with a paper litho on cardboard background. Operated by a single battery in the back which causes a see-saw device to make the Popeye head with hat pop up on the left and then Popeye head without a hat on the right. The two moving heads are high value targets. Game original would have come with a generic metal target gun but this piece is missing. Includes original box with all and flaps having been restored. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.

Condition: Toy (Excellent) Box (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 6 - 1/4” x 9 - 3/4”.
SMALL PAPER LITHO POPEYE ELECTRIC TARGET GAME.
