The graphics indicate a likely date of the early 1930s. Made by Joseph Schneider Inc. in New York. Copyright King Features Syndicate. Game came in two sizes and this is the larger of the two versions with a paper litho on cardboard background. Operated by a single battery in the back which causes a see-saw device to make the Wimpy head pop up on the left and then a Popeye head on the right. The two moving heads are high value targets. Unlike the small target, the large version has a third target at the center top of Popeye's pipe. Includes a generic black metal target spring-loaded gun and two darts. Also includes original box with all end flaps having been restored. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.

Condition: Toy (Excellent) Box (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 8” x 18”.
