Jaymar was the company started by Louis Marx and headed by his father Joseph to make wood toys, jig saw puzzles, games and other like playthings. Set of four wooden jointed figures including Popeye, Olive Oyl, Wimpy and the elusive Jeep. Only the Jeep has been assembled. The other figures are complete but unstrung. Includes original box. A very beautiful box specially designed for this set is included. Box is complete with inside dividers and copyright dated 1919 1929 1933 1936 King Features Syndicate. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.
