Tin litho. Wind-up. Made by Louis Marx Company. Copyright dated 1930 1934 1935 King Features Syndicate. Working. Toy has two spinning heads. When bumper hits a wall the toy reverses direction. Dagwood is the driver and his son Baby Dumpling is the passenger. Both wear wood hats. The brightly lithographed car pictures the other characters from the comic strip including Blondie, Cookie, and Daisy. Includes original key and box. Provenance: Collection of Carl Lobel.
