Tin. The J. Chein logo is hidden behind the left front wheel of tin litho toy. Front and back panel of platform are copyright Oscar Hitt with the NIFTY brand logo. The Geo. Borgfeldt toy distribution company sold their commissioned and licensed top line tin toys under the NIFTY brand name. Original pull string matches the string that connects the two characters on the platform. Snowflake is leading the dog Swipes on a makeshift leash. Lithography on side panels show Snowflake restraining Swipes who has engagedanother dog in a fight. The Swipes figure on the platform has tears in her eyes, two band-aid like patches on her sides, and cloth wrap around her head. Her hands are also tied. She may have lost the fight and is being led home or to the vet's office. Includes original box with a few small visible repairs. See ATW Spotlight article Sept. 2009.
