Tin. The Chein logo is hidden behind the left rear wheel of tin litho toy. Front and back panel of platform are copyright Jimmy Murphy with the NIFTY brand logo. The Geo. Borgfeldt toy distribution company sold their commissioned and licensed top line tin toys under the NIFTY brand name. Toy has mechanical action with Buttercup raising and lowering thebroom while holding the dog's tail and Spareribs nods her head when toy is pulled. Side panels have litho of crawling Buttercup with the dog Spareribs. Original pull string. Includes original, rare box with replaced end flaps. See ATW Spotlight article Sept. 2009.
