Manufactured by Advanced Machine Co. in 1916, the cast iron base has definitely aged with time with some minor oxidation. It has a dark green color with details of gold throughout. The glass is a cylindrical dome with 4 interior channels to place copious amounts of matches. Insert a penny and pull the lever forward; works well. "1¢ MATCHES" is displayed in black lettering with a light blue background. There is one key and lock. In unrestored, original condition.
