Early 20th century hand carved Black Americana nodder, made with extreme detail. From the tip of his hat to the polka dots on his tie to the tip of his shoes, from every wrinkle coming from his smile to the bags under his eyes. Dressed in hotel or railroad clerk clothing with large feet and sharp teeth. Has 4 small storage compartments with a flat tray. Once the music box is winded up and played, the clerks head nods. A magnificent piece and plays beautifully, with minimal wear.
