American. Post-war. This set is a special promotion set made for Sears Allstate by Lionel. This is an extremely rare set and not many exist. Includes no. 240 locomotive with tender, no. 6470 exploding boxcar, no. 6814 rescue caboose with black frame, no. 3666 Minute Man cannon car, one rare flatcar with Payton tank, an original bag with military figures, and an extremely rare Sears missile firing range set with four cannons and four wooden missiles. Overall set is in excellent to excellent plus condition with some components being near mint. Set box is in excellent condition and includes its original inserts.
