Steel construction, the skull features a molded three dimensional devil accented with silver and gold kaftgari and decorated with chiseled floral scrolls and and Eastern motifs throughout, base of brow decorated with border of chiseled Cyrillic characters with silver overlays. Each side of skull is fitted with a silver overlay-decorated devil's horn. Features include a sliding nasal defense and a spike on top, both decorated en suite and highlighted with gold accents. Two plume holders with shaped finials. Piercings around base of brow and complete with camail. Very good condition, retains an even dark grey patina with some light wear to some of gold decoration and some areas of heavy patina. The generous traces of silver kaftgari work retain a mostly dark patina. A very decorative and attractive helmet that displays nicely.
