This is a self framed tin sign, depicting a farmer and his wife surrounded by a black and gold border. It is highly detailed and illustrates excellent use of color; displaying a wagon filled with fruit around a group of chickens and "In The Shade Of The Old Apple Tree" is inscribed along the bottom. There is minor wear on the field but wear shows mostly along the edges with very few bends to the perimeter. For The Hickman-Ebbert Co. Inc. of Owensboro, KY. Lithograph by Chas. W.
