For a nickel, a bell will sound and the automatic column dispenses gum by flipping it from the top thus falling into the lower opening. Mansfield offered gum flavors such as peppermint and its most odd flavor, blood orange. Made mostly of glass, having a rectangular boxed shape which allows patrons to view the clock work mechanism within. The beveled mirror marquee reads "Mansfield's Choice Pepsin Gum Dispenser". A highly successful machine, manufactured in 1902 by the Automatic Clerk Company. One key is included.
