Manufactured by Advanced Machine Co. in 1916, the cast iron base has a dark green color with details of gold throughout but shows minor erosion. The reproduction cylindrical dome is acrylic with 4 interior channels to place large amounts of matches and matchbooks. Insert a penny and pull the lever forward; works well. "1¢ MATCHES" is displayed in black lettering between the channels. In unrestored, original condition.
