Only 4,000 to 5,000 of these Mills Violano-Virtuoso music players were made, this version with a piano included was made after 1912. It is a stunning piece featuring one interior light, a 4 panel front glass divider, and a sleek mahogany cabinet gleaming with gold details. There are 44 inner piano keys with the viola magnificently sitting at the center. Sadly, only one of the four strings is attached. Invented by Henry. K Sandell, the Violano-Virtuoso also plays perforated music rolls. "Designated by the U.S. Government as one of the "Eight Greatest Inventions" of the decade." as read on the interior plaque. Comes with multiple music rolls. This restored machine comes with midi and over 60 discs of music containing 600 songs. Minimal wear, seen only at the base and on the top left-hand edge. Overall in very beautiful condition. Includes three keys as well as original service tools.
