Made around 1910 by Charles H. Belknap. Featured in 1977 May Antique Toy World article by Hank and Lou Hart. 15" x 7 - 1/2" x 11 -1/2", body of the vehicle is wood, painted bright with gold trim. On each side is a pastoral decal depicting a maid herding cows down a winding lane surrounded by high mountains. There are ten full or partial cardboard and wood musicians, and one band leader. One or two of the musicians need some repair. Musicians fit in slots on top of bus. Crank in front, and inside there is a record player, which plays tune when wound to sound like musicians are playing. Needs adjustment to work properly. Original black rubber tires over disk wheels. Some tires are misshapen. There are three Little Wonder label disks, and an on/off break switch on the front. Need some help to start working again, but is a really marvelous item.
