Comes with an article about the man who carved the circus, Verne C. Fortney, a retired Pennsylvania mail man from Tyrone, PA. He seems to have carved this in the 1950's. Pieces include horses, menagerie wagons, side show performers, and patrons. Very elaborately made, originally done for his children, but also was put on display in several east coast cities years ago. This is not the entirety of the carved circus, but most of it. Very unique and unusual, and very good condition.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Largest: 10 - 3/4" x 10".
VERY UNUSUAL HAND CARVED WOODEN FOLK ART CIRCUS DISPLAY.
