Fine example of a Browning 1919 A4 made up of parts on a DLO registered side plate. Pistol grip is of the all metal type. Includes contemporary spade grip assembly, 1919 A6 booster, cover, carrying handle, 3 1919 A4 barrels one each in caliber .30-06, .308, third undetermined as sealed in cosmoline wrapper; 1919 A6 booster, unmarked new in box M2 tripod without mounting stirrup or T&E mounting mechanism, four 250 round cloth belts and six 150 round belts. Straight-forward specimen, the American Cadillac of machine guns which is ever popular at the range due to the availability of parts, ease of conversion to multiple calibers, and dependable operation. Overall appearance and condition extremely fine, grey parkerized refinish upon re-manufacture. One of the spare barrels significantly pitted on exterior but with a shiny, bright, clean bore. The others appear extremely fine, grey parkerized finish. Mechanics are crisp. Bores are very good. Overall a fine shooting grouping needing only a couple of minor, common parts for the tripod to make this complete shooter's or collector's ensemble.
