American. Post-war. Extremely difficult-to-find set with set box and individual box for no. 2037 locomotive only. Set comes with no. 6026W tender in excellent condition, no. 6476 Lehigh Valley hopper, no. RT6482 refrigerator car with plastic trucks, one pipe car with plastic trucks in excellent plus to near mint condition, no. 6112 gondola car with white canisters, no. 6017 Lionel Lines caboose, and no. 6646 cattle car with plastic trucks. This is a scarce set made to use up old stock and was sold through special store catalogs. Set box is in good to very good condition showing wear throughout while the overall condition of the train set is excellent.
