Made by Jane Moore, age 13, from New Jersey in 1861. Hand stitched with 5,176 pieces. She made the quilt soon after her uncle and brother, in their teens, answered the call of President Lincoln for volunteers for "The Cause of Our Union." Slight staining. No tears, repairs or losses.
Condition: (Excellent).
